Card size assumes your images are cropped to the document edges. Background in a photo makes the card smaller. Other document formats may need Fit page.

Check which file type, page size, and layout your recipient accepts. This PDF is a copy, not a replacement for the original ID.

ONE PAGE, LESS FUSS

From two pictures to one PDF.

  1. Add the front and back.

Use clear images cropped close to the document, without cutting off any required details.

  2. Check orientation and order.

Rotate either side or swap them. The first slot goes at the top or left.

  3. Choose the right paper size.

A4 and US Letter are available. Ask your recipient which layout they accept.

  4. Download and open the result.

Check that the file has one page and both sides are readable.

Questions about your PDF

Are both sides really on the same page?

Yes. The exported PDF has one page with two image positions. You can choose top-and-bottom or side-by-side. This is different from combining two separate PDF pages into one file.

Can I use US Letter instead of A4?

Yes. A4 is 210 × 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches. Images are fitted inside the page without stretching or cropping. Card mode fits each image inside an 85.60 × 53.98 mm ID-1 box, following its orientation. Crop to the card edges first and print at 100% / Actual size. Other document shapes keep their proportions and may be smaller. Fit page enlarges images instead.

Does this scan or crop my ID automatically?

No. This tool arranges existing images. Start with clear, cropped photos or scans. The IDPouch iPhone app offers a separate scanning workflow.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are decoded and the PDF is generated in your browser. The PDF library is loaded from this website; your document images and watermark text are not sent to a server.
