USING THESE TOOLS

A few things to know.

The scope of the free IDPouch website tools and your responsibility when sharing copies.

What the website provides

The website provides tools to label supported document images with a purpose watermark and arrange two images on one PDF page. The web tools are free to use and export without an account.

They work with copies you already have. They do not authenticate an ID, perform an official identity check, detect forgeries, or create an official replacement document.

Use copies you are entitled to handle

Use the tools for your own documents or documents you have permission to process. Do not use them to misrepresent a person’s identity, alter facts on a document, or facilitate fraud. Our sample documents are fictional and cannot be used for verification.

Review before sharing

You are responsible for the images and wording you choose, and for checking the file before sending it. A watermark is a visible label. It cannot guarantee that a file will not be reused, modified or misused.

Recipients set their own format and acceptance requirements. A watermarked image or one-page PDF may not be suitable for every process. Check the requirements and retain your original file.

Availability and the separate app

Browser support, file formats, memory limits and download behavior affect how the tools work. Limits are described on the tool pages. Keep a separate original copy; the website is not a document backup service.

The IDPouch app is a separate product distributed through the App Store. Its availability, in-app purchase prices and purchase terms are shown by Apple. Using the free website does not purchase or unlock app features.
